Shankman & Associates is Hiring a Retail Sales Representative Near Grand Rapid, MI

Retail Solutions Great Lakes is looking for a full-time, detail oriented and problem-solving individual to add to their selling and merchandising team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit excellent retail merchandising skills that attract, engage, and motivate the customer towards making a purchase, while complying with all stores’ specific requirements.
  • Ability to sell-in products and provide store management with information to get new products into existing stores.
  • Plan and organize effective market routing schedule for multiple company, customer, and client priorities using the tools and resources provided.
  • Identify competitor trends and recommended market opportunities.
  • Detailed communication with supervisor to report store visit results per company systems.
  • Manage all aspects of the store set; product flow, merchandising and display.
  • Create and develop retail merchandising strategy to deliver optimal results using reporting and analysis tools available.
  • Participate in organizational training and meetings to support growth strategies.
  • Responsible for managing and reporting all hours worked, mileage, and expenses accurately in the timekeeping system used.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Time Management – Ability to implement the tools, resources, and training provided to make the most effective use or your time and expenses.
  • Drive for Results – Passionately driven to support and represent the company culture and our commitment to supporting customers, product, and each other. Displaying a can-do attitude and being flexible to the evolving needs of the business to increase sales and overall success.

Experience and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent; and/or 1 year of related experience
  • Ability to navigate and utilize a table and smartphone technology
  • Valid Driver’s License required
