Shag's Nightclub is Hiring a Security Guard Near Des Moines, IA
At Shag's our security guards are responsible for preserving order and protecting property. As a Shag's security guard you will be working in a fast-paced, guest-centric, team focused environment with emphasis on:
-Assisting crowd control and surveillance
-Circulating among visitors, patrons and employees to maintain order
-Being aware of surroundings and making quick decisions
-Defusing situations before escalating into altercations
-Talking with unruly patrons and possibly communicating with police if an altercation happens
-Ensuring facility maintains legal compliance by not letting minors in the establishment and cutting off guests who may be intoxicated
-Janitorial duties throughout and at the end of each shift
Important Notes:
-If a physical altercation happens, security needs to be able to break up fights and physically eject people from the building or restrain them until the police can arrive.
-Experience is not required but starting pay is dependent on experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
