Seventh Sense Consulting, LLC is Hiring a Senior Program Management Analyst Near Arlington, VA

Overview:
 
In anticipation of a contract award, we are seeking a Senior Program Management Analyst. Within the role of Program Analyst (Senior), you will support a highly visible Defense Aviation Joint Program Office (JPO), responsible for managing a major defense weapon system development. You will perform critical program management, technical, and business analysis and planning to provide recommendations that ensure program success in support of the JPO Assistant Program Directors (APDs).

Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition to plan, organize, and coordinate critical aspects of the development, production, deployment, and sustainment of systems, subsystems, and equipment
  • Assist in the coordination efforts regarding programmatic, technical, and sustainment areas, including program management, systems engineering, personnel management, scheduling, risk management, contracting, acquisition, budgeting/funding, configuration management, integration, testing, life cycle logistics and training
  • Conduct program analysis across all aspects of the program and provide insights and recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Service Leads, and the APDs on a wide range of topics and supports leadership in prioritization of focus areas
  • Track program/project status and schedule which includes integration with the APD for ASI, APD for Development, APD for Sustainment, and APD for Program & Finance, Enterprise Planning, Program Operations, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
  • Assist with the execution of strategic JPO initiatives and provide high-level guidance
  • Ensure all forms of information and communication are completely prepared and presented to enable the Customer's program strategy formulation, analysis and decision making, often within significant time constraints
  • Ensure that decisions are communicated appropriately both internal and external to the JPO, providing follow up to assure that intended messages and actions are understood and executed as warranted
Required Qualifications:
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to work on site in Arlington, VA up to 2 days per week
  • Masters’ degree in a related field; Engineering, Business Administration, or other related discipline -or-
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus four (4) years of additional relevant work experience
  • Minimum Experience:
    • Ten (10) years of experience in program management, technical, or business analysis discipline, related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management
    • At least six (6) years of recent work experience related to analysis and planning
    • At least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis
    • At least three (3) years in support of a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP)
    • At least two (2) years professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development
  • Demonstrated experience in the program/project status, schedules, and DoD reporting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition to plan, organize, and coordinate critical aspects of the development, production, deployment, and sustainment of systems, subsystems, and equipment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the system equipment life-cycle phases and the documentation, analyses, and reviews associated with those phases
  • Knowledge of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) for the development of contracts and contract modifications required for the acquisition of logistics supportability products.
  • Familiarity with DoD Instruction (DoDI) 5000.2 (Operation of the Defense Acquisition System), DoD Directive (DODD) 5530.03 (International Agreements), and the International Cooperation in Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (IC in AT&L) Handbook
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Focus on customer service and responsiveness with sound customer handling skills
 
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5th Generation Fighter program management experience
  • F-35 Lightning II program knowledge and expertise
  • Experience with and knowledge of challenged associated with Contractor Supported Weapon System (CSWS)
