Seventh Sense Consulting, Llc is Hiring a Remote IT Director

Overview: 
We are looking for an experienced IT Director responsible for establishing and leading the growth of our emerging IT Business Unit. The candidate must be someone interested in solving client challenges, developing IT solutions, supporting the capture and development of new business opportunities. The ideal candidate must also be adept at leveraging an extensive partner network, including leading our multiple Joint Venture (JV) efforts to demonstrate an ability to build and then collaborate with proposal and solution teams. Candidate must have held program management and leadership positions with a consulting firm or federal government supporting the public sector. The role is part subject matter expert, part technologist, and part business consultant. In this role, the individual will must also have proven skills in providing hands-on management and oversight support for complex enterprise IT and business transformation projects. The individual in this role will also be expected to contribute to corporate initiatives and maintain an outstanding level of commitment to the company and its objectives. Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals.
  • Responsible for management of profit and loss for the IT business unit.
  • Responsible for the business unit’s talent acquisition activities in coordination with the Talent Acquisition Division.
  • Monitor company IT performance against contract requirements, compliance and maintains customer contact on issues, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work with Senior leadership to develop short- and long-range goals/objectives for the IT business unit
  • Develop and recommend strategies for taking advantage of the Company’s technological strengths and for developing new capabilities.
  • Lead or champion IT initiatives in new business capture and pursue activities; assist multi-discipline and/or cross-functional teams in proposal preparation activities.
  • Encourage and support a “team” mindset within the company.
  • Assist with managing and reporting activity, pipeline development, and revenue forecasting through developed organizational processes.
  • Assist Capture Managers as required on new business opportunities and to hone win strategies and articulate the ‘why us’ story; and serve as the architect the solution based on story and solicitation requirements.
  • Partner with technical and customer domain SMEs to lead solutioning activities, resulting in differentiated, well-articulated solutions that address customer pain points.
  • Develop and cultivate partner relationships – external companies and Seventh Sense Consulting (SSC) JVs.
  • Work with Seventh Sense Service Delivery Executives (SDEs) and teaming partners to weave technical solutions into new or existing work to provide our clients access to cutting edge and open-source solutions.
  • Experience translating technology solutions into high quality, well written responses throughout business development, capture, and proposal development lifecycles.
  • Cultivate client advocacy by delivering deft client engagement expertise throughout the business lifecycle.
  • Actively manage and supervise multiple programs/projects.
  • Represent the company and its priorities effectively both internally and externally (to include business meetings, client meetings, conferences, etc.)

 
Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Management or a related field.
  • Expertise in software solutions including artificial intelligence, cloud deployments/migrations, DevSecOps, AI and BI, CIO Advisory Services, S/W Development and/or Cyber Security.
  • Experience with or possess the ability to learn capture and proposal management processes including competitive analysis, price to win, and business development.
  • Experience serving in leadership roles on Federal IT proposals and project applying prior experience serving as a technical solution architect working closely with a proposal and capture team.
  • Ability to design Concept of Operations and System Models (i.e., logical and physical architecture) and translate to a narrative.
  • Ability to conceptualize graphics to convey key solution concepts, graphically depicting process, relationships, dependencies, technologies, benefits, features, and other concepts that tie solutions to problems.
  • Possess the ability to write, review, direct, and craft proposal sections regardless of the discipline, technology, or requirements of those sections.
  • 12 years of federal IT program, project and portfolio management experience.
  • 6 years of management experience.
  • Understanding of CMMC regulations and emerging technology risks and threats required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills using analytical abilities and sound professional judgement.
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of management.
  • Strong leadership, people management, collaboration, influence and team building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage change.
  • Ability to articulate technical strategy and issues to senior management.
  • Proven capabilities to recruit, build, and lead a great team.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop client requirements and critical success factors and negotiate large, complex solutions with the most senior levels at the client.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Master’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field, highly desired.
  • CISSP Certification highly desired.
  • PMP or DAWIA III in Program Management Certification highly desired.
