Seventh Sense Consulting, Llc is Hiring an Acquisition Project Manager (Part-Time) Near Gaithersburg, MD
Overview:
We are looking for an Acquisition Program/Project Manager to:
- Carry out oversight activities for contract closeout activities.
- Possesses significant experience conducting pos-taward functions based on requirements of federal law and Federal Acquisition Regulation.
Responsibilities:
- Work with staff who perform contract closeout activities and other contract administration activities.
- Independently supervises, leads, mentors, coaches, and reviews work products of employees at all levels.
- Responsible for tracking and monitoring employee progress for Purchase Requests assigned to them and ensuring that data in ServiceNow is accurate.
- Acts as liaison/representative between the contractor and agency, as appropriate. Has no authority to sign or approve agency documents. Those must be obtained from the relevant Contracting Officer.
- Track tasks of the team on a weekly basis. Work closely with each team member as well as with government-appointed officials to ensure all work assigned is successfully completed.
- GS-14 equivalent
- Bachelor's degree and at least 24 hours in business-related courses in any of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
- 10 years of combined experience. At least 5 years’ acquisition experience with or supporting Civilian and/or DOD agencies.
- Expert knowledge in post-award contract management.
- Extensive knowledge of the FAR and/or associated FAR supplements.
- Contracting experience with FAR 8.4, 12, 13, 15, and 16.505.
- Must be proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Supervisory experience is desirable.
- One of the following Contracting-related certifications: DAWIA Contracting Level I,II, III or FAC-C Level I, II, III, strongly desired or CPCM.
