Overview
The Teacher Assistant will assist the Teacher in providing children with a developmentally appropriate, safe, nurturing and organized environment.
Responsibilities
Assist to provide children with a safe, and nurturing classroom environment.Interact positively with children at all times throughout the day, following the Centers' Behavior Management Plan.Prepare with the Teacher/Lead Teacher weekly lesson plans and activities as assigned.Attend all staff and team meetings, and trainings as required and assignedTake on assignments as designated outside the classroom for the benefit of the center as a whole (i.e. bus monitor, housekeeping duties, kitchen duties, answering phones)
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED requiredAt least 18 years of ageFirst Aid & CPR certifiedCompletion of Child Growth & Development/within 6 months of hire
