Provide nutrition/dietary guidance to infants/toddlers and their families/caregivers in home or community based settings. Complete service coordination activities as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations as needed. Provide documentation of interventions consistent with EI regulations.
Provide nutrition/dietary guidance and treatment through coaching in home and community based environments to achieve goals in all necessary areas.Provides individual short or long term direct dietary treatment when indicated through consensus of the multidisciplinary team, including the parents, and written into the child’s IFSP.
Participates in arena-style multidisciplinary assessments when appropriate, and provides written and oral information to child’s parents and other team membersObtains consultation from other members of the team in areas outside own expertise in order to fully address the needs of individual children on caseload.Maintains licensure and professional knowledge through participation in professional organizations, conferences and inservices.Documents all activities in accordance with own licensure regulations and requirements necessary for billing, agency policies or EI regulations.

Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition from an accredited institution. Registration with the American Dietetic Assoc. and licensure in RI required immediately.
2 years experience within the field; experience in the provision of multidisciplinary services.
Must have driver’s license, insurance, own vehicle and safe driving record; must maintain pediatric CPR certification.
