Job Title: Nurse Manager
Location: New York, NY (USA)
Blended rate: $4400/wk - $4600/wk
Stipend: $2359/wk
Shift Pattern - 40hrs/wk - Days - 7a - 3:30p
Job Summary:
The Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy medical facility in New York, NY. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of nurses, while ensuring high standards of patient care and adherence to clinical protocols. The Nurse Manager will work closely with the medical director to ensure smooth functioning of the facility and exceptional service to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of nurses and other healthcare staff, assigning tasks and coordinating work schedules
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to patient care, staffing, and overall facility management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Monitor patient care and clinical outcomes through regular assessment and evaluation
- Collaborate with physicians, other medical professionals, and support staff to ensure effective patient care and customer service
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and patient satisfaction
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring timely ordering and restocking of key inventory items
- Manage staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and availability of trained staff
- Monitor budgetary performance and identify areas for cost savings or revenue enhancement
- Participate in staff development and training initiatives to ensure ongoing professional growth and development of staff
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active or pending nursing license in the state of New York
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
