Seven Counties Services is Hiring a Chief Operating Officer Near Louisville, KY

Job Description: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Provides management, direction, and assistance to operating divisions of SCS and ensures those operations are administered within organizational objectives, governmental regulations, and accreditation standards. Establishes clinical strategic direction for operating divisions. Collaborates with corporate executive staff to maximize SCS response to and impact on community needs. Coordinates and fosters effective working relationships with other SCS divisions including Human Resources, IT, Finance & Administration, Properties Management, etc. Fosters and manages effective relationships and communications with other community human service providers and key stakeholders. Develops opportunities to reinforce organizational values and support mission of SCS. Assures adequate structures are in place and operating effectively to monitor performance and accountability. Ensures overall financial performance of assigned operating divisions. Drives and monitors quality and effectiveness of assigned operating divisions and ensures customer satisfaction of major stakeholders (clients and their families, funding sources, local community, etc.) with those operations. EDUCATION Masters degree in human services or related field of study plus advanced training in business management. Certification/Licensure in mental health administration. EXPERIENCE More than eight years in human services management. Knowledge of organizational and board policies and procedures, governmental regulations, and accreditation standards of operation. Thorough knowledge of effective management practices and logistics of project management. Strong quantitative or analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong conceptual skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Position has no unusual physical demands. Occasional minor discomfort from continual exposure to video display terminal.
