Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Sev1Tech is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support Project Manager, Tactical Radios (PM TR) at the O-6 level at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. As a core member of the TR Operations Team and as a SETA contractor, the successful candidate will provide the following support including but not limited to:

• Perform synchronization and organization efforts between the O-6, O-5, and Division levels of PM TR
• Attend high level meetings and provide strategic thoughts based on details of discussions, plans, and requirements, and work with other entities within and outside of, PM TR to best accomplish the task(s) assigned
• Receive and disseminate taskings to ensure compliance and mission success
• Participate as an active member in technical exchanges, discussions, and other associated meetings and leverage understanding of military operations, tactical radio networks and architectures
• Organize and manipulate date to provide reports, briefings, and updates to the leadership team of PM TR

Minimum Qualifications

• Must posses an active Secret (or greater) security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in systems engineering and must be experienced in systems of sytems engineering
• Strong written and oral communication skills as well as an ability to receive and execute tasks based on priorities as received with minimal direction or supervision
• Working knowledge and understanding of current Army tactical radios, radio architectures, protocols, security, network management, and basic physics underlying these systems
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management and cross-functional team leadership and coordination
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently across a range of complex projects
• Travel expected up to 50%

Desired Qualifications

• Prior service members or civilians with experience as an XO, S-3, or Trail Boss, are highly encouraged to apply.
