Setra Systems is seeking a motivated Calibration Technician to join our team. The person in this position will be a key player within our quality and operations team as they will be primarily responsible for calibrations of the transfer standards, test stands, and tools used across the factory. The selected candidate with receive full training on all required equipment/ processes.

Key responsibilities:

• In house calibration of transfer standards (pressure references), hand tools, capacitance meters, etc used across the factory.
• Coordinating with other 3rd party calibration technicians to ensure on time delivery of onsite service
• Responsible for maintaining calibration records.
• Provide feedback on calibration tool performance to quality leads via verbal and database updates
• Performs calibration to in house test equipment.
• Assist Quality Engineering in retrieving calibration records and procedures to support customer and audit requests

Required Skills/Experience: (List of required skills and experience to perform this position)

• Experience with PC based application to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Professional and strong verbal/written communication skills
• Lifting requirements of 30 pounds

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Ability to work with typical manufacturing tools; hand tools, soldering etc
• Knowledge of pressure sensors/ measuring tools preferred
• Working knowledge of fundamental mathematics

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
