Job Summary – Business Manager
We are looking for a self-starter who can identify and solve problems, recommend best practices and juggle multiple responsibilities to join our growing team! This is an exciting opportunity to dig in and learn the ins and outs of our business and have a significant impact on the effectiveness of our teams.
The Business Manager will be responsible for continuously improving the productivity and performance of our office and sales teams, ensuring we can effectively deliver results and meet or exceed our key performance metrics. This individual will need to be able to dig in and become an expert on all SERVPRO systems and processes, as well as our training protocols and development needs and become an expert in insurance process, job file rules and preparation so that you can effectively train and support the office team.
The Business Manager will have oversight and accountability for the results of the office team, overall team training compliance, and act as our HR manager as it relates to working with brokers, HR partners, systems, and compliance. This role will also need to have a pulse on the culture and employee engagement; working with the management team to ensure we are offering a great place to work and addressing the needs and/or gaps of our employees.
This role will also focus on the training program for the various roles throughout the company. Working with managers and individuals to create individual and team training schedules, tracking, and holding individuals accountable for their progress. This position actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective methods to educate colleagues, enhance individual, team, and organizational performance, and recognize teammate excellence. In this role, your will be reporting to the Owner of the business.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure the annual office plan is effectively executed, resulting in the efficient operation and appropriate support of all franchise functions
  • Ensure the office team is competent and effective in all administrative tasks.
  • Oversee and accountable for the team processing of AR/AP activities and reporting
  • Ensure Customer service expectations are met or exceeded
  • Participate in the planning, development, and implementation of the overall Organizational Training strategy
  • Help drive timely completion of onboarding and compliance training.
  • Develop and report key metrics for training and the office team.
  • Track employee learning and performance improvement year-over-year and report results to leadership team
  • Evaluate effectiveness of training courses and programs through data analysis and reporting. Identify and implement appropriate improvements
  • Oversight of HR processes and systems; ensuring we follow state and federal regulations and engaging with HR partners when needed
  • Will develop and design our sales metrics and partner with Sales Development lead to report and track on progress, make recommendations and identify needs of the sales team.
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working with learning technology (Learning Management Systems, web-based and online training, in-person training media, etc.).
  • Proven collaboration and consultation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High standards for excellence in all areas of professional responsibility.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Professional certification in training and/or HR preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000 per year
