ServiceSource is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Oakton, VA

Primary Duties
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.
  • Perform recruitment functions for the life cycle of a requisition which may include but aren’t limited to: posting a requisition, working with employment agencies, conducting phone screenings, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, extending job offers, and completing background check(s), etc. May include working with individuals with disabilities, funding sources, referral agencies, etc. to ensure all necessary information, including documentation of disability as required by the AbilityOne Program for direct labor positions. Requisitions may be for any ServiceSource regional office.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with candidates, hiring managers, HR Partners, employment agencies, referral sources, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Complete or ensure completion of required documentation. Documentation may include hiring manager input form, pre-screens, candidate evaluation forms, etc.
  • Work flexible hours, when needed, which may include weekends and evenings.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Prepare offer letters.
  • Write phone screening and interview questions, when needed.
  • Ensure that the hiring manager completes the interview questionnaire candidate evaluations.
  • Ensure that the selected candidate meets the minimum qualifications stated on the job posting before making a verbal offer.
  • Adjudicate the background check results.
  • Disposition all non-selected candidates.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
  • Minimum two years of recruiter experience required.
  • Associate degree in a related field can substitute for two years of recruiter experience.
  • Experience using any major applicant tracking system, human resources system and/or its recruiting module, for example, SAP, Greenhouse, ADP, Taleo, PeopleSoft, ICIMS, or Workday highly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Accomplished written communication skills, including the ability to compose professional, grammatical, and clear emails and the ability to write and edit job descriptions required.
  • Accomplished verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate in a clear, courteous, and confident manner.
  • Accomplished attention to detail, including reviewing and correcting one’s own work.
  • Accomplished interpersonal skills, including transparency, tactfulness, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to solve problems by working directly and collaboratively with others in a patient, upfront, and transparent way.
  • Work well independently and as a contributing member of team.
  • Strong computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to learn and become proficient in the HRIS system.
