Job Summary

As a fast growing company, ServiceCore is expanding their product team and is looking for a Senior Product Owner to help manage new and exciting product features. You will will be responsible for developing, managing and executing a comprehensive approach to deliver products using the strategic product vision, executing the product roadmap, prioritize and maintain the product backlog, and perform just-in-time story elaboration with the engineering team and other product team members.

Job Responsibilities

Planning:

• Collaborate with stakeholders on product vision and product roadmap
• Execute product roadmap
• Work together with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs
• Collaborate with other product team members on finding the best solutions, validate the solution with prospective users and translate them into product requirements
• Refine product requirements into user stories and story acceptance criteria
• Grooming and managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
• Support the release train via product increment planning
• Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule

Development:

• Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
• Facilitate and participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
• Coordinate with other Product Owners to deliver solutions that cross multiple delivery streams or release trains.

Engagement:

• Partner with other product team members to understand and influence product vision
• Recommend ideas for enhancing product performance and achieving product success
• Suggest ways to track product use and impact on end users
• Deliver updates to other product teams and company stakeholders

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, design or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
• Proven leadership experience and strong team skills
• Previous experience working as a Product Owner for Agile team(s)
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Comfortable managing concurrent projects in a fast-based, results-driven environment

Preferred:

• Scrum Alliance Product Owner Certification or similar
• Experience working with distributed teams (onshore/offshore)
