The Opportunity
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for implementing, supporting, and monitoring the overall infrastructure. The IT Support Specialist ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related operating procedures meet organizational needs. The IT Support Specialist assists users in resolving difficult problems through discussion and diagnosis.
Responsibilities
- The IT Support Specialist is responsible for PCs, Laptops, Printers, Phones, and related equipment
- Manages the lifecycle of tickets through to their completion and customer satisfaction
- Performs preventative maintenance on PC inventory and configures equipment when required
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with all users, vendors, customers, and management
- Participates in monthly Windows patching and updates
Requirements
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 Operating System
- Knowledge of Hardware/software installation and support
- Knowledge of Collaboration tools; Microsoft Teams, Zoom
- Knowledge of Help Desk software and remote support tools; Service Desk
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems; 2012 R2, 2019
