GAP Solutions, Inc. is Hiring a Contracts Administrator Near Herndon, VA

Position Objective: Responsible for providing full-cycle contracts administrative support to contracts department. Contracts activities include working under the direction of Director of Contracts and in collaboration with corporate Program Managers to ensure contract compliance with set terms and conditions. Conducts contract administration of routine contracts and subcontracts providing administrative contract management functions following established policies and processes in accordance with customer expectations and corporate objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Contracts &Accounting Support

  • Process all contract related actions including contract awards, modifications and close-out requests, entering all information into company systems for the company, its subsidiaries, and joint ventures.
  • Draft, and review basic Independent Contractor, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and track completion status of related agreements
  • Prepare and disseminate information throughout the company regarding contract award, status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination.
  • Monitor contracts and existing tasks, monitoring funding and performance dates.
  • Assist accounting team with Project and month end close-out procedures for assigned projects.
  • Prepare special reports and contract spend analyses
  • Reconcile timekeeping and project billings for billing accuracy
  • Assist with management of company’s ISO Quality program and ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • Under the direction of the Director of Contracts, participate in proposal related activities as needed including completion of contractual compliance documents, and basic pricing activities

Other Duties

  • Provide back up support to various contract programs on as needed basis.
  • Provide short term project support as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Will consider a HS Diploma with four years of related experience
  • 1-2 years of contracts, accounting or related experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with Contract Management System, Unanet highly desired but not required
  • Experience in Federal Government contracting preferred but not required
  • Basic knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Agency FAR Supplements preferred but not required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond accurately to simultaneous tasking.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel and SharePoint.
  • Outstanding organizational capabilities to manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines
