We are currently looking for an On-Call and or Part-Time Security Officer that wants to have an important role in the company serving clients and representing Sentry Security as a highly motivated professional.

This position entails responding to client needs that arise from short notice, emergency situations, or temporary security assignments. We are looking for individuals who have a flexible work schedule. We will work with your schedule! This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door in the security field and earn extra income! Potential full time positions will be available soon.

Job Duties:

1. Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot.

2. Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.

3. Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles.

4. Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits.

5. Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements.

6. Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.

7. Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

8. Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors

9. Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.

10. Effective oral and written communication skills.

11. Active listening skills.

12. Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively.

13. Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.

Requirements: Guard Officer

1. MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABLITY TO WORK MORE HOURS

2. Must be able to pass a state and federal background check.

3. Must be a motivated worker.

4. Must have a team based attitude.

5. Must have High school Diploma/GED

6. Must have costumer service experience.

7. Must have both Covis-19 vaccinations and a flu vaccination
