Sensiba San Filippo is actively seeking bright, energetic individuals to assist in the delivery of outstanding service to our clients. We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist for a 1 year contract (with extension possible).

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining customer accounting records and working relationships with our customers to help prepare, send, and ensure collections of accounts receivable invoices.

Essential Functions:

• Timely completion of customer billing as assigned & supporting the billing team
• Work closely with the business managers across all departments in preparation of billings as needed
• Process customer ACH and credit card payments as needed
• Post customer payments, research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Conduct collection calls, and review A/R aging to assist in collections plan
• Ensure professionalism and politeness with every customer by assisting with questions or concerns regarding invoicing, and collections
• Support monthly financial close processes, ensuring work is completed in accordance with closing schedule
• Prepare journal entries and support the preparation of AR account reconciliations, as needed
• Assist in documenting, and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with sound accounting principles, policies, and best practices
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Finance Systems, familiarity with VPM, Intacct, Bill.com, and Blackline is highly valued
• Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures
• Clear verbal and written communication is required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required
• Intermediate knowledge and experience with Excel
• Desire to be a team player and an active participant within the firm
• Work well under pressure and with a team; able to meet deadlines
• Flexible to work on a variety of assignments; able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
