SUMMARY:

SeneGence International has embarked on a major Digital Transformation initiative intended to significantly modernize our customers’ experience of our products and services, both at the Distributor and Consumer levels. Strategically planned initiatives will upgrade our capabilities in Content, Commerce, CRM, Marketing Automation and other frontiers, while also making major advancements in our leverage of business data through the implementation of a Data Lake and Business Analytics program. Beyond this, advancements across our back-office systems and infrastructure are envisioned. As we prepare to launch this next phase of our aggressive plans, we seek an experienced Software Architect to help deliver on performance, scalability, interface simplicity, reliability, portability, modifiability, and maintainability goals. This role will report to the Manager, Architecture. 

Technology-Oriented Qualifications:

• BS or MS in computer science or related technical field
• 10 years of experience developing enterprise level software applications
• 3 years of experience managing team of architects
• Proven ability to design for "ilities" across distributed systems (scalability, security, reusability, maintainability, extensibility, testability, reliability, etc.)
• The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to this role as well as ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
• Strong understanding of the Azure Cloud PaaS, Integration Platforms (iPaaS), eCommerce, CRM, and ERP Architectures (SaaS, PaaS), and API’s.
• In depth knowledge of .NET, C# or JAVA, relational (SQL, mySQL) as well as No-Sql databases
• Ability to influence technical needs w/business and technical team members where collaboration and communication skill are essential
• Demonstrated skill in designing enterprise software solutions using standard architectural principles and practices
• Experience in Agile Methodology and associated processes, teams, tools
• Experience with OWASP secure coding practices
• Experience with DevOps concepts and practices

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED FOR POSITION:

• Broad understanding of coding and programming languages
• Experience with database design and data modeling
• Extensive knowledge of the software development process and corresponding technologies
• Excellent understanding of design patterns and architectural styles
• Strong soft skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills
