Seneca Family of Agencies is Hiring a Program Supervisor (Hybrid) Near Oxnard, CA

Overview

Do you have a passion for leading a team who supports youth’s mental health? So do we, join our multi-disciplinary management team for Ventura Wraparound and Family Urgent response system (FURS) team.

We are looking for a Program Supervisor who will manage and supervise Parent Partners and Family Specialists within our community-based programs. As the Program Supervisor, you will provide direct support to supervisees, oversee the quality and tracking of all Wraparound and FURS documentation, train and onboard new staff, ensure program coverage and be an integral part of the management team. You will provide culturally responsive group and individual supervision, support and equip direct care staff in their professional journeys and will have the ability to be creative in developing trainings and staff development curriculum.

ABOUT WRAP/FURS

Our community-based Wraparound and FURS programs provide services to youth 0-21 years of age and their families. Services include one-on-one meetings with clients and caregivers, therapy, Child and Family Team Meetings, and clinical case management. We support probation, foster, and adoptive youth remain in the home setting. Family Urgent Response System (FURS) is a free hotline for current or former foster youth and caregivers. The families can receive 24/7 support which can include in-person support followed by linking the families to current or new local services.

Responsibilities

  • The Program Supervisor is responsible for knowing and being capable of fulfilling all job duties of supervisees. 
  • The Program Supervisor is responsible for learning, knowing and being able to train/coach Seneca’s Wraparound/FURS model and hold their supervisees to the model. 
  • Create and maintain supervisees’ schedules for providing direct care/support for children and families. 
  • The Program Supervisor is responsible for supporting their team with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion issues that affect their supervisees’ own professional development and those of the families receiving Wraparound/FURS services. 
  • Ensure that all supervisees are submitting accurate and timely paperwork related to the services being provided to children and families and relevant to their role. 
  • Provide initial and ongoing training, coaching, and support to all supervisees regarding all areas of their job and responsibilities. 
  • Participate in weekly supervision with the Program Director. 
  • Conduct weekly individual supervision of staff. 
  • Create and facilitate monthly curriculum for Wraparound Fidelity training.
  • Facilitate monthly Team Meetings for all members of that supervisor’s team. 
  • Work with the Management Team to coordinate ongoing staff trainings. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Master’s Degree in social service field (MSW/MFT).
  • Ability to work as part of and supervise a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings as needed.
  • Willing to respond to crisis situations (as needed) and be part of a rotating emergency on-call system (2-3 times per year).
  • Valid California driver's license and insurable by Seneca's automobile policy.
  • Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirements.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster required.

PREFERRED

  • License eligible preferred 
  • Experience working with children in out-of-home care.
  • Experience implementing family-focused Wraparound services.

Schedule

  • Full-time
    • Monday-Friday: 9:30-5:30pm
    • Some evening flexibility
    • Hybrid (remote and in-person)
  • 5 weeks of paid time off, 11 paid holidays.

Benefits

  • Starting at $69,300 to $83,300 per year. Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications.
