The primary responsibility of the Intake Clinician is to assess referrals of children to the Outpatient Mental Health Clinics. The ideal candidate will have a high level of organizational and analytical skills, be able to prioritize projects, have strong computer skills, good communication skills, and be a positive team player. Moreover, the Intake Clinician is responsible for conducting intake sessions, completing the 60-day assessment paperwork and preparing the family to transition to their treating therapist. If Seneca cannot accept a referral, the Intake Clinician will work collaboratively with the county and other agencies to ensure a family is appropriately linked to services.

Valid CA driver’s license and insurable under Seneca Family of Agencies insurance policy.
Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirements.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster required.
