ABOUT THE PROGRAM

As the Clinical Supervisor you will provide individual and group supervision to clinical staff and ensures the quality of all clinical services, including appropriate implementation of Seneca’s Unconditional Care clinical practice model and other evidence-based or evidence-informed service models. You will reviewsand approve clinical documentation and assists in the development of appropriate clinical treatment goals and interventions for the clients in the program. You will work to maintain close collaborative relationships with county partners and outside service providers as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly individual and group supervision. 
• Provide clinical consultation, oversight, and training for all direct care staff.
• Ensure supervisees are meeting the performance expectations and standards of their position. 
• Provide leadership for staff in creating a positive work environment that adheres to the values of the agency. 
• Perform tasks related to program management and operations, including: referral management, coordination with external partners, reporting program performance information, and ensuring adherence to other programmatic and contractual requirements 
• Responsible for case planning, including the following:
  • Assisting with chart review 
  • Ensuring psychiatric and other consultation is used appropriately 
  • Ensuring that treatment plans (as appropriate) are reviewed in a timely and appropriate manner 
  • And ensuring that families are engaged in the treatment of their child 
• Oversee documentation and ensure that:
  • Staff complete all documentation within the agency timeline 
  • All documentation meets county requirements, when applicable 
• Review and co-sign assessments and treatment plans. 
• Function as a program leader and uphold the ideals of the program. 
• Intervene with the clients' behavioral program as needed, including physical management of the clients if applicable (utilizing Seneca’s Equilibrium Model training). 
• Participate in Rapid Response back-up Administrator On Call rotation

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree in Social Services/Social Work/Psychology/Counseling.
  • Licensed as MFT or LCSW required.
• 2 years post license. 
• Own vehicle, valid California Drivers License and insurance.
• TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
• Proof of Covid-19 fully vaccinated and boosted.

PREFERRED

• Preferred in-depth knowledge of Wraparound principles and practices.
• 1 year of management skills a plus!

• Understands own social and cultural location, the systems of oppression within which we operate, and the impact those have on the clients and communities we serve.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Experience working with or living in community with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• A commitment to advancing racial equity at the organizational level.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Hybrid position; must be able to commute to San Jose
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed, including rapid response backup administrator on call rotation as mentioned above.

Benefits

• Current rate is $109,745 to $123,745 per year.
  • Actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.
  • Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam
  • Additional $4000 salary increase for BBS licensure
