Seneca Family of Agencies is Hiring a Clinical Supervisor (Full or Part-Time) Near Vallejo, CA

Overview

Do you have a passion for supporting the mental health needs of diverse youth? So do we, and we’re hiring a like-minded clinical supervisor to join one of our close-knit school teams. 

We’re looking for an experienced Clinical Supervisor to oversee the mental health, case management, and consultation services to grades 6-12 students at our Vallejo-based nonpublic school, Uprising Academy. As the Clinical Supervisor, you’ll manage Uprising Academy's talented mental health team by modeling fidelity to program outcomes, coordinating referrals, ensuring the quality of clinical charting, administrating therapeutic and case management services, and mentoring direct-care supervisees. As Clinical Supervisor, you'll grow in expertise around clinical issues in the classroom, collaborating with school staff to implement evidence-based and creative ways to foster culturally responsive services to students and families that address these challenges

Responsibilities

  • Mentor clinicians and interns weekly in clinical consultation, oversight, and training
  • Ensure that adequate supervision around improvement of job performance is provided in a supportive, constructive manner
  • Lead staff in creating a positive work environment that adheres to the values of the agency
  • Guide staff in developing creative and evidence-based interventions for youth, which promote Seneca’s mission of Unconditional Care 
  • Plan treatments, such as assisting with Utilization Review, ensuring psychiatric and other consultation is used appropriately, ensuring that treatment plans are reviewed in a timely and appropriate manner, and ensuring that foster families are engaged in the treatment program of their child
  • Coordinate consultation with therapists and direct service staff, including psychiatric, family & individual treatment, and behavior modification needs
  • Coordinate with the Seneca psychiatrist and provide support and resources to them as needed for the care of the clients in the program

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC licensure 
  • At least two years of post-licensure experience and five years of in-field experience
  • At least five years of experience working in the mental health field with children and their families 
  • Ability to train clinicians in assessments, hypothesis-building, diagnosis, and treatment 
  • Familiarity with behavior modification and crisis intervention techniques 
  • TB test clearance, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirements
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster 

PREFERRED

  • Demonstrated success designing and implementing therapeutic programs

Schedule

  • Full-time or part-time

  • School-based schedule, including the extended school year

Benefits

  • Starting at $78,100-$92,100 per year, with actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role
  • An additional $6000 per year for bilingual language abilities
