Overview

Managing production is the responsibility of this management position for DAER Nightlcub/Dayclub/Rooftop. These professionals will work extensively throughout the DAER venues using project management and technical skills to assist the team.

Responsibilities

• Programming of both moving light consoles and conventional style consoles for permanent install or a large scale concert.
• Interpret lighting plots so that equipment can be placed circulated to talent’s and / or operations’ specifications.
• Places, tests, and maintains Equity and Cue lights for each performance
• Participates and manages loads-in, executes changeover and operates console on assigned shows
• Ensures that each changeover is complete and meets established specifications
• Ensures that channel check is complete and accurate for each performance
• Maintains design integrity and operation quality through the run of the shows
• Creates a Changeover Check List & Deck Map for each show
• Creates and is ready with backup lighting plans in case of failures of any kind
• Ensures proper completion of documentation such as lighting plots, as-built lighting information, or operating S.O.P.’s as they pertain to the design.
• Responsible for greeting talent’s production team upon arrival 
• Acts as the onsite contact for anything that occurs once talent’s production team has arrived in market
• May stay with talent’s production team for their entire set, addresses any issues that may arise accordingly
• Coordinates with Nightlife operations to ensure technical riders are all set
• Additionally works with others to ensure all necessary advancing details for ops are included on the Event Run of Show
• Operate equipment including lighting boards, sound equipment, special effects and other equipment
• Participate in production / design meetings
• Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (5 ) years of luxury Restaurant/Nightclub Management experience, preferably in a Casino/Resort environment
• Strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures in a restaurant/nightclub is required
• Must have flexibility and be adaptable to all types of changes
• Must be able to create fun in a fast-paced and stressful environment
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all types of business contacts
• Extensive knowledge of Audio, Video & Lighting hardware
• Extensive knowledge VJ and Design software to include Resolume & Adobe CC
• Knowledge of CO2 effects, handling of CO2 cyclinders
