Seminole Hard Rock Support Services is Hiring an ANALYST - BENEFITS Near Davie, FL

Overview

The Benefits Analysts is responsible for the evaluation and administration of retirement, health, and welfare employee benefit programs of Seminole Gaming, Hard Rock International and Seminole Hard Rock Support Services. Due to the sensitive nature of their job, he/she is expected to always monitor benefits trends in the business environment and be up-to-date with the relevant laws and legislation regarding benefits.

Responsibilities

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage HRIS/payroll system to improve accuracy and administration of payments and deductions, limiting legal liability.
  • Participates in mergers, acquisitions and new openings to ensure benefits are properly integrated.
  • Perform Non Discrimination Testing for benefit and retirement plans.
  • Perform audits across multiple platforms to ensure employees are enrolled in correct benefits.
  • Audit retirement plan to review funding, deferrals, company match, limits, loans, HCE’s, EPCRs and employee status.
  • Audit carrier file feeds and perform corrections on errors found.
  • Provides management planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing employee benefit data and trends.
  • Ensures offerings comply with all applicable laws and regulations, not limited to ERISA and ACA legislation.
  • Help develop a process and strategy to ensure benefit plans meet the current and future requirements of the ACA.
  • Assist in coordinating annual open enrollment process and benefit presentations.
  • Analyze employee’s benefit interests by and analyzing responses from benefit focus groups.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in human resources or a related field
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Specialized human resources knowledge
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and good judgment

Work Environment:

  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times where you will need to be in operating areas. In these areas, you may be exposed to environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
