Select Staffing is now hiring Air Export Customer Service Agent for well-known Logistics Company in South San Francisco, CA!
Pay Rate: $21-$25/hrs. BOE
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, Be Flexible for OT and Weekend
Job Responsibilities:
- Enter shipment data into system to generate required documents and labels, apply rates and charges.
- Arrange export clearance through U.S. Customs, and track shipments with carriers from origin to destination.
- Arrange and transfer shipments from customer or vendor to location.
- Arrange flights with airlines for customer shipments, provide flight information and shipment details to customers.
- Issue and close Master Air Waybill (MAWB), check the entry data of MAWB and House Air Waybill (HAWB) for correction.
- Assist in visually inspecting freight, ensuring it has the necessary stickers to ship out correctly
- Create invoices for customer shipments, third party, and Freehouse billings.
- Provide service and support to customers and overseas offices regarding status, transit, or irregularities of shipments.
- Maintain and update customer templates, pre-alert distribution lists, and new customer information.
- Assist in creating and updating reports, operations and customer Standard Operating Procedures
