SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES is assisting a major automotive OEM in hiring a TMS Software Engineer to join our growing team in Rochester, NY.
This is a DIRECT hire opportunity, NOT a Contractual role.

Job Description
- Ensure with the ICC-TMS team that software implementation meets the customer’s needs and expectations (within the context of the contract) while minimizing the product gaps.
- To ensure consistency and quality of the software implementation across the ICC-TMS projects.
- To be a key member of the Agile team
- Owns the TMS software (architecture, implementation…) and support the changes that needs to be done on the product (from small fixes to complex variation orders).

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Automation, or equivalent.
- 2-years (or ) experience in Railway industry or with large Control Center Systems (Energy, Pipeline and similar) and their typical integration challenges.
- 5-years (or ) experience in Software development (Software Requirements, Software Architecture, Software Integration, Software Validation).
- Experience with development of complex applications in C/C for Linux Operating System (Red Hat distribution is a plus).
- Proficient with Configuration management tool (git, SVN).
- Good understanding of database principles (MS SQL, Oracle) and associated reporting tools (Jasper is a plus).
- Experience with Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles.
- Exposure to at least one ICONIS Product (ATS CF, ATS CT, S2K-AGUI, S2K-UHMI) is an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, as well as excellent presentation skills.
