Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the CFO
• Partner with the manufacturing and engineering team to manage production costs and inventory
• Develop and implement product cost dashboards and KPl's
• Manage cost system and related process and protocol developments
• Analyze results of production jobs by customer and work with Program Management to determine if price adjustments are necessary
• Partner with operations managers to analyze cost savings initiatives and calculate payback periods for potential capital projects
• Support month-end closing process by reconciling accounts and performing journal entries, as well as analyzing variances
• Manage and maintain cost standards and bills of material for work-in-process and finished goods
• Analyze and communicate variances including: labor, yields, material usage, overhead, and absorption
• Perform adhoc analysis and process improvement

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
• 1-3 years of experience in finance/accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Team player with strong collaborative communication skills who is able to work well across departments
• Must have experience with debits and credits
• Experience in mining for data and developing new data streams
• Strong ERP and Excel skills
• Knowledge of costing techniques, MRP systems and inventory controls in a manufacturing environment a plus
• Self starter who is flexible and a quick learner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
