The Role
- Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and generate actionable business insights
- Work with Product, Engineering, Finance, Supply chain and Business teams to support their strategy, vision and execution
- Delivering the data in a useful and appealing way to technical and non-technical audiences using our visualization tool
- Partner with Data Engineering to create well-structured, organized, and easily accessible data.
- Responsibility for documentation, repositories and to uphold the code hygiene of the data science team
- Identify potential methods and new usage of available data to support business analysis and customer lifecycle projects
You
- 3-5 years of experience working as a data analyst/data scientist
- Knowledge of AWS services, cloud technologies, open-source technologies, and industry best practices
- 2 years' experience with customer facing product
- Subscription-based product
- start-up , built from scratch
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python(Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn), R and database solution languages like SQL
- Self starter
- Prior experience in building data visualizations and familiarity with products like Tableau or google data studio or looker
- Good to have - Prior experience working closely with supply chain or finance teams
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in: Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or another related field
- Recent bootcamps or Master's degree in Data Analytics or Business Analytics or a related field, or equivalent experience are a bonus
