JOB SUMMARY:
This individual will work independently and in a team atmosphere and must be capable of working safely by following policies and procedures of an industrial environment. Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, control panels, and interconnection wiring from drawings. Must understand applicable codes and standards. In addition to electrical skills, good mechanical aptitude is required to understand function of mechanical, electrical and fluid systems. Possess demonstrated understanding of ladder logic, ability to read and understand pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical schematics. Must have experience with electrical products and knowledge of auto cad electrical. This individual must have a “Can-do” attitude with ability to multi-task and quickly prioritize in a time sensitive and fast paced work environment as they work with engineering to support production. Job entails both office and hands on duties.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILL
o High School diploma/GED
o Preferred 1-3 years of industrial experience
o Knowledge and capability to troubleshoot and work on PLC systems and controls, drives, drive motors,
pumps and hydraulics
o Basic knowledge of shop tools and measuring devices.
o Electrical skills to troubleshooting motors, manual switches, disconnect, fuses, and frequency drives.
o Skill to read and troubleshooting AC, DC circuit controls.
o Knowledge and skill in industrial control wiring and troubleshooting.
o Demonstrated leadership abilities to take ownership and willingness to share and mentor others
o Ability to read and understand prints and schematics (Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic)
o Proven ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) at all levels within and outside the plant.
o Must have a high degree of safety conscientiousness.
o Ability to follow precisely prescribed procedures.
o Good observation skills and attention to detail.
o Will be required to work some overtime and travel when necessary.
o Must have high interpersonal skills and ability to work and interact well with others.
o Must have basic proficiency in MS Office & AutoCAD electrical software.

3. Job normally requires working long, flexible hours, including some week-end work. Hours will be determined by production needs

5. Must be able to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and have a strong understanding of the systems
6. Requires bending, heavy lifting, reaching, working in cramped and confined spaces
7. Good communication skills – verbal and written.
