Journeyman Electrician

Construction Technician III work on commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects (both private and public works). Electricians must be able to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining the accuracy and quality of their work. This position requires high technical expertise and attention to detail. Our work ranges from North Sacramento to the East Bay down into the Central Valley.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, analyze, and repair equipment to ensure product quality and optimal production
• Perform preventative and preventative electrical maintenance.
• Perform preventative and predictive electrical maintenance to maintain equipment integrity and runtime efficiency.
• Install electrical conduit using various bends to get the conduit from point A to point B, including pulling and terminating wiring.
• Participate in the upgrade of production lines with new equipment/technology.
• Document of all work, planned and unplanned
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Electricians must provide proof of CA Journeyman Electrician certification.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical theory, the National Electrical Code, and local and state electric/ building codes required.
• Electricians must have a clear understanding of lock out and tag out.
• OSHA 10, scissor lift, reach lift, CPR, and first aid training is preferred.
• Ability to visualize work
• Must be able to climb ladders, sit, bend, stoop, stand or walk for extended periods.
• Must have minimal ability to squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach lift, balance, carry, push, and pull
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to travel to job site locations
• Ability to work in extreme weather and temperature conditions.
