Job Title: Manager of Partnership Activation

Salary Range: $70 - $80k; Seahawks.com/EmploymentBenefits

Reports To: Director of Corporate Partnerships Activation

SUMMARY

The Activation Manager will be the lead in all assigned Partnership Activation execution duties, to include: frequent contact with corporate partners to develop/implement strategic activation concepts, fulfill contracted elements, deliver first class service and present year-end wrap-ups. Additionally, this position will work in conjunction with assigned Partnership Sales Directors in the sales process including: collaborating on proposal concepts, securing research as needed, input and update sponsorship elements in CRM system, etc. This position will work as part of a team establishing a strong relationship between the organization and assigned corporate partners throughout the calendar year.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Act as a lead contact for all activation fulfillment elements with assigned Corporate Partners; account list between 15 - 20
  • Plan and coordinate activation strategies and calendars
  • Fulfillment logistics responsibilities include the following core responsibilities:
    • Gameday Execution (on-site set-up, videoboard, in-game promotions, giveaways, presentations and hospitality)
    • Coordinating media elements and content (television, radio and digital and social media)
    • Events/promotion execution (retail marketing initiatives and non-gameday/community events and appearances)
    • Partner signage (permanent and temporary)
    • Print inventory
    • Coordinating tickets, merchandising and hospitality elements
    • Create and present end of season wrap-ups for all assigned clients
  • Manage assigned renewal accounts sales efforts to contribute to department sales goals with an opportunity to grow existing partnerships and procure new business
  • Proactively develop new ways to establish a strong relationship with assigned corporate partner accounts. Anticipate the needs of partners and communicate accordingly
  • Utilize department CRM to manage activity (inventory, deadlines, collection), implementation and corresponding recap data for all of the above inventory
  • Proactively participate in activation team operations including weekly meetings, assisting colleagues with events, promotions, hospitality, shared responsibilities on gamedays and assisting in servicing efforts of all sponsorship assets

  • Must have strong verbal communication skills – including the ability to proactively communicate with clients, co-workers and vendors to manage tight timelines and problem solve when needed
  • Must have strong writing capabilities for writing/editing proposals
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university with a degree in marketing, sports management or related field
  • Must have a minimum two (2) years related experience in any of the following industries: sponsorships/client services/activation, sports/event marketing, agency or media

  • Employee must be able to set up client and gameday promotional and event programs. Promotional set-up often requires banner installation and carrying moderate sized promotional materials

  • Majority of work is in an office environment
  • Outdoor work is required for occasional client promotional events
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week and all home Seahawks games and assigned events
