Seattle Childrens Hospital is Hiring a Supply Chain Specialist, Sr. Near Seattle, WA

Responsibilities

Supply Chain Specialist/Analyst needed to help manage increasing backorder and logistical issues from upstream supply chain and mitigate local impact (space allocation and optimization).

Leverage the Lawson ERP system to identify process improvement and standardization opportunities within supply chain activities across Seattle Children’s locations. Responsible for understanding and identifying Supply Chain business problems and issues, recommending solutions, and facilitating the implementation of system project improvements. Work closely with Sourcing Manager’s, Sourcing Specialists and Buyer’s to prioritize and implement system supported functionality and enhancements.. Educate and train users on ERP and related systems’ functionality and design. Provide input on ERP and supply chain related issues to the Director and other department managers as a member of the Supply Chainleadership team. Share accountability and collaboration with entire Supply Chain team of both leadership and staff to accomplish the department’s mission, goals, daily activities, and projects.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience: - B.A. or B.S. degree or at least (5) years professional level experience in Supply Chain as an analyst, buyer, or closely related position or equivalent. - Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen experience - Demonstrated successful experience leading complex change management in an department organizational setting - Proficient using hospital and/or financial applications and/or systems. - At least three (3) years of progressively more responsible hospital purchasing or related materials management information system (MMIS or ERP) experience as a buyer or systems analyst. Required Credentials: - N/A Preferred: - Project Management Professional (PMP certification. - At least five (5) years experience in continuous performance improvement initiatives. - Proven record of project completion through use of methodologies, including project and time management, team development, and status reporting.
