Overview

Responsible for the design, development, and testing of healthcare system HL7 interfaces and other types of integration solutions for small scale to mid-level projects. Development of interface solutions through the application of object oriented Cache programming is a core compentancy of this role, as is the ability to independently work interface implementation efforts from inception to completion – guiding project particpants through requirments gathering, gap analysis, solution design, development, testing, implementation, and issues management and resolution efforts. In addition, responsible for the installation, configuration, administration and maintenance of and related to Intersystem's Ensemble, HealthConnect, or IRIS for Health interface platforms. Last, responsible for operational support of the production instance of the Ensemble interface engine and all associated integrations solutions, acting in an on-call capacity egaging in daily monitoring, system maintenance and problem troubleshooting and resolution.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in CIS, MIS, IS, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience - 3 years of work experience managing HL7 interfaces and interface activities - Experience in Cache programming preferred, with experience in one or more other common programming languages acceptable Required Credentials: - N/A Preferred: - InterSystems HealthShare Health Connect HL7 Interface Specialist Certification - Epic Hyperspace – Bridges Interface Certification
