As one of the nation's top five pediatric research centers, Seattle Children's Research Institute is dedicated to providing hope, care, and cures to help every child live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible.
Our investigators are involved in hundreds of projects that cover every phase of research, from studying how diseases work to improving investigational therapies. Works closely with the clinical research leadership of Cancer and Blood Disorders Center (CBDC) to establish management systems and develop strategies that will benefit the Oncology therapeutic clinical research operations. Oversees the process of study startup, protocol implementation, data management/monitoring and study close out. Develops and maintains research procedures with the goal of standardization, increased efficiency, and ensuring quality and integrity of all clinical trials, operating in accordance with all applicable regulatory and compliance guidelines. Supervises clinical research coordinators on the Oncology Therapeutics team and works closely with faculty members towards Institute and programmatic goals.
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of research-related experience including at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Proven success managing and integrating multiple projects across an organization.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a related scientific discipline or Business Administration.
- Oncology research experience.
