The Role

Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end facilitation of two critical components of our accounting functions.

What does that look like in the day to day?

• Own the Accounts Payable process and all related activities, ensuring information is properly approved and subsequently entered into our software both timely and accurately
• Provide excellent billing support to our amazing customers; follow up timely on questions they may have about invoice(s), account(s) or payment(s)….communication is key
• Record and reconcile payments within our accounting and billing software while working cross-functionally with our Customer Success Team
• Maintain the daily cash forecast and monitor for insights/extemporaneous cash-impacting transactions
• Facilitate the month-end close, and assist the accounting manager with process improvement(s), especially as they relate to customer aging explanations as well as expense reimbursements
• Willingness and ability to “Pivot” as special assignments/projects arise

What you bring

• 2-4 years of experience in accounting (concentration in accounts payable and accounts receivable) 
• Experience in Quickbooks Online, Salesforce (or similar CRM), Maxio/Chargify (or similar billing system), Bill.com is a bonus
• Proclivity for details and organization (even if it’s sometimes an organized mess)
• Confident with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
• Experience in the SaaS industry a plus
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Tenacious work ethic, tempered with an appreciation of a vivacious culture

Salary

$49,000 to $55,000 per year (exempt)
