We are looking for a veterinary receptionist! Are you interested in helping animals and their owners who are on the other end of the leash? Do you enjoy providing excellent customer service skills?
We're a three-doctor hospital in Gloucester, MA providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care for dogs, cats and exotic pets. We also help treat injured wildlife. Our modern facility offers a full surgery suite, in-house lab and pharmacy, ultrasound, digital x-ray (including dental), laser therapy and a cloud-based electronic medical record system (we use Ezyvet and SmartFlow).
Our practice culture is built on respect, support and communication. We value the need to laugh and lean on each other while maintaining professional boundaries. We hold weekly huddles, monthly staff meetings and monthly doctor meetings to keep communication flowing and work on solutions. We focus on job satisfaction and a healthy work-life balance because we know the quality of the care we deliver relies on the wellbeing of our team.
Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist is preferred. Shifts may include a Saturday morning rotation sometime in the future, however, we are only open Monday through Friday at this time. No emergency hours or on-call.
Candidates must have solid interpersonal skills and need to be able to multitask, exhibit professional behavior, work well in a close-knit team environment, and thrive on treating patients, coworkers and clients with respect and compassion.
To be considered, please submit the following in a message here on Indeed:
1. Cover letter explaining why you think you'd be a strong candidate
