Full-Time M-F 8-5 **Due to the nature of this position, overtime is likely.
Job SummaryOur IT Manager will work closely with our administrative staff and contracted third party support team. They will be responsible for all of the following :
- Support the day-to-day maintenance, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of our IT infrastructure.
- Serve as liaison between SHC and third party software/hardware vendors, contracted support team, and other entities.
- Manage secure data backup.
- Identify and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Provide technical support to all departments.
- Work on installation projects.
- Assess needs and recommend alternatives.
- Create and maintain proper documentation for existing systems and comply with procedures for process change management for IT systems
- Ensure data systems are secure by protecting all systems from unauthorized access, use, or interruption.
Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree Required (See preferences below)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
- Experience in managing IT systems
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with anti-virus tools, security software and developing policies and procedures
Preferences
- Bachelor's Degree is required,; degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
