Seagate Hotel and Spa is Hiring a Housekeeping Attendant Near Delray Beach, FL

Position Summary

This position is responsible for turning down assigned rooms and cleaning rooms in accordance with established quality and performance standards. Allow for the sufficient quantity of vacant and clean guest rooms. Clean occupied guest rooms as requested.

Housekeeping Attendant Responsibilities: 

• Required to be able to work varying schedules from time to time. All employees are required to attend all scheduled training and departmental sessions.
• Arrive in assigned work area o time in full, clean pressed assigned uniform for scheduled shift.
• Perform and complete any and all assigned tasks by management
• Be totally familiar with hotel operations/locations and be able to direct guest and answer guest questions of general facility.
• Must be able to speak, read and write the primary language.
• Must be able to work in a professional work environment.
• Clean and reset guest bedroom and bathroom area according to established standards.
• Organize and stock cleaning cart and organize linen closets on floors assigned.
• Complete accurately, and in a timely manner, any assigned paperwork.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
• Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests.
• Asist other housekeeping employees in maintaining clean and organized work and public areas.
• Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environment systems. However, outdoor services may be required with extreme outdoor temperatures.

• Communicate in the in a clear, concise, grammatically correct, pleasant, and sincere manner.
• Understand requests and correctly, creatively, and expediently carry them out.
• Be outgoing, friendly, and patient even after working long hours.
• Handle multiple requests with poise, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Understand and practice the policies of The Seagate Hotel.
• Use good judgment at all times.
• Work long hours when necessary and be flexible with schedule. Be able to work weekends and nights and holidays, as necessary.
• Stand and walk for extended hours. Lift, carry and push up to 30 pounds and be able to push carts up to 250 pounds.
