Seagate Hotel and Spa is Hiring a Beverage Server Near Delray Beach, FL

The Beach Club Beverage Server is responsible for setting up and maintaining the bar, pool, and beach areas, as well as ensuring that they are properly cleaned and set up for the next day’s service, in addition to verifying that all drinks are rung through the system and that guests have signed their checks.

Beach Valet Responsibilities: 

• Keep the towel room clean and organized
• Keep the beach free of towels and trash
• Ring all drinks through the system and ensure that guests sign their checks
• Post all closed checks and complete the final report
• Keep garbage cans emptied throughout the day
• Report all damaged equipment to management
• Work safely, using safe lifting techniques at all times
• Carry out any other tasks requested by Management
• Arrive at assigned work on time in full, clean, pressed assigned uniform for scheduled shift.

• Communicate in English in a clear, concise, pleasant and sincere manner
• Understand requests and correctly, creatively, and expediently carry them out
• Be outgoing, friendly and patient
• Handle multiple requests with poise, accuracy, and timeliness
• Understand and practice the policies of The Seagate Beach Club
• Use good judgment at all times
• Must have a passion for service and the ability to think ahead of guests’ needs
• Works well in a team environment to provide excellent service
• Hard working, efficient, effective, team player, great attitude, loves to work with people and the public
• Good judgment and professionalism must be displayed at all times

Physical Requirements/Other

• Work long hours when necessary and be flexible with your schedule. Be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays as necessary
• Stand, sit, walk for extended hours, lift and push up to fifty-plus pounds
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks
• Position requires repetitive grasping, standing, walking, and repetitive motion, bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, climbing, and lifting for extended periods.
• Exposure to different weather conditions.
