Starting rate:$18 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the support of various types of software programs by troubleshooting, gathering requirements to resolve and/or prevent issues, investigating problems with software applications, and diagnosing root causes for prompt resolution. Provides support to end users on a variety of issues (PC, printers, peripherals, software). Determines if Issue must be escalated to Technical Team. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. GEOGRAPHIC REGION:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • Experience with Windows 10
  • Familiar with Office 365
  • Able to communicate (read, write, speak) in both English and Spanish
  • Ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, overtime, weekends and holidays to complete task or projects
  • Ability to respond to emergency calls as needed
  • Ability to think logically and follow procedures and instructions
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems in a constantly changing environment
  • Self-starter with ability to perform under pressure
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and other individuals s/he may have to contact to perform her/his job
  • Ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment within established systems and procedures
  • Ability to accurately process alpha/numeric information

Preferred

  • Experience working with Ticketing system
  • Industry related experience for software support

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary

  • Responds to user’s requests for technical and software support
  • Record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution
  • Assigns tickets based on issue type and resolution requirements
  • Ensures new users are properly setup based on Ticketing System requirements.
  • Ensures all processes for termination users are properly executed based on Ticketing System requirements
  • Assist creating procurements
  • Able to monitor and maintain inventory for multiple offices
  • Able to provide support remotely in different geographical locations
  • Familiar with assembling workstations to include connecting laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals

Secondary

  • Works on special projects as assigned
  • Additional duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The employee is continuously required to sit and use his fingers
  • The employee continuously required to talk and/or hear
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Wear protective PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as instructed or necessary.
  • Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and rules.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:

Reports directly to Business Systems Manager; does not exercise supervision over any other position. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

CONDITIONS:

  • Indoors office environment most of the time where the exposure is a controlled temperature and office environment
  • May be exposed to changes in temperature and humidity when supporting users in the warehouse
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually busy with many phone conversations going on simultaneously
  • When in the warehouse, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy and will have some exposure to dust, fumes, and/or airborne particles
