Job Description

Our Logistics Coordinator is responsible for executing the daily logistics operations plan for the delivery and distribution of finished products and ensures products arrive complete, on-time, and in a cost-effective manner.

Job Duties

• Provide frontline support for daily logistics operations
• Logistics customer service support
• Communicate with carriers to ensure proper equipment arrives when needed
• Coordinate outbound needs with dock loaders
• Verify outbound trucks are loaded per standards and documentation is complete and retained for recordkeeping purposes
• Coordinates freight claims and freight dispositions
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation for past, current and future shipments
• Clerical and administrative duties associated with shipping and receiving
• All other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products and Google Applications 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment 

Minimum Requirements

• 1 year of experience in logistics (preferred) 
• Experience using NetSuite (preferred)
• Support working in an after-market automotive industry (preferred)
• Exposure to international shipments (preferred)

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms; with occasional lifting. Must be able to sit and stand for 8 or more hours at a time with occasional and repetitive lifting up to (50) pounds.

This is a full-time, exempt position that primarily works Monday - Friday.
