About the Role: The Systems Administrator is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of all compute, network, and storage systems. The Administrator will provide technical support for the development and integration of service delivery. Responsibilities: Provide system administration, management, and performance tuning techniques. Provides overflow end-user support for the User Support Administrator. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining network systems Developing and maintain technical documentation of the system environment Provide other technical services as required for the successful completion of projects. Record end user and systems incidents in incident tracking software Assist in the implementation of new systems and processes to improve the overall network environment. Compile and present reports of assigned KPIs Assist the System Administrator – Retail with inventory management Assist the System Administrator – Retail with system builds as required. Other duties as assigned. Candidate Requirements: Bachelor’s degree – Significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education Microsoft certifications preferred (MCSE / MCSA) Minimum 5 years equivalent experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Exchange in a production environment. Experience with Microsoft, VMWare, and Nutanix virtualization platforms. Experience with Linux administration Experience with SharePoint 2010 or higher Experience with Firewalls, Brocade network equipment Extensive understanding of Active Directory Deep understanding of networking concepts patterns and practices. Experience with root cause analysis and maintaining a Knowledge Base. Competencies: Ability to identify and solve problems quickly and completely Excellent troubleshooting skills and methodology. Display strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines Keen attention to detail.
