Scout Partners is Hiring a Litigation Associate Near Chicago, IL

We are currently seeking an associate to join our law firm client's Litigation Practice. The ideal candidate will have 4 years commercial litigation experience preferably with a large firm. The ideal candidate will also be a self-starter with superior interpersonal, analytical and writing skills. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated experience representing clients in all aspects of litigation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) is required, licensed in Illinois and in good standing with the Illinois Bar.
  • Four years of experience as a litigation attorney in a large law firm setting preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Clear and effective writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and client management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to learn new software programs.
  • Ability to work professionally and effectively with clients, partners, associates and support staff.
