Scion Staffinghas been engaged to conduct a search for a Full-Charge Bookkeeper for a respected construction company committed to integrity and client satisfaction. This is an exciting Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire opportunity located onsite in Pflugerville, TX!

As the Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will utilize your outstanding organizational skills and expertise with QuickBooks Desktop to help keep accurate records for this incredible business!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directly responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the company’s finances.
• Prepare annual budgets and work with management to review expectations and budget vs actual.
• Accurately enter invoices, payments, and relevant financial transactions into QuickBooks
• Create financial system SOP’s, maintain all financial record keeping systems & files.
• Onboard new employees and address payroll and benefits questions.
• Submit weekly payroll.
• Maintain corporate financial database including invoice input, running financial reports, and maintaining data quality with regular back-ups and restores.
• Maintain insurance records.
• Manage accounts receivable by following Lead to Invoice process and effective communications with customers.
• Maintain tax records and submit quarterly reports. Pay sales tax by the 20th monthly.
• Provide clients with required job documentation including W-9’s COI’s, lien releases, etc.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements in QuickBooks weekly.
• Full general ledger responsibilities and produce monthly financial reports with appropriate analysis.
• Prepare documents for outside auditors to complete appropriate tax filings.
• Work closely with general management, in the strategic planning and execution of the short term and long-term future of the company.
• Work closely with other managers as it relates to customer satisfaction, meeting established goals and margins, reducing overheads, improving efficiencies and accurate reporting.
• Participation in recurrent sales, operations, and management meetings as required.
• Consistent and timely Procru utilization and reporting.
• Assistance with answering the phone and working with customers and prospective customers as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Pro Contractor
• Proficiency with AP & AR
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Experience processing payroll using Intuit
• Experience with benefits administration a plus!
• Experience with Procru a plus!

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
