Schuyler Hospital is looking to hire a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist. This candidate will be responsible for administering ionizing x-radiation in the diagnostic range to produce high quality diagnostic imaging in accordance with New York State Department of Health, Federal Department of Health and Human Services guidelines and regulations. Responsible for performing routine diagnostic imaging as well as assisting with Fluoroscopy. Assists with contrast media administration as qualified and required.. Performs exams in other imaging modalities as qualified and required. Provides radiation protection to patients, hospital staff and medical staff. . Assists with quality control/quality assurance and minor maintenance of imaging equipment. Provides excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff with an emphasis on quality service and excellent patient care. Shall be oriented in the appropriate care handling of patients from all age groups: assists with radiology department office procedures: performs on-call duties as required. Employee is self-motivated and demonstrates ability to work as a team.

Requirements:

Education:

• Associates degree in Radiologic Sciences or successful completion of hospital based certification program

Experience:

• Two years' experience preferred, but new graduates welcome. Multimodality experience preferred

Licensure:

• ARRT certification in Radiography and NYS license

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to push, pull, bend, safely transfer patients and ambulate without assistance
