Position Summary

It is the responsibility of the Marketing Associate to assist the organization in the development and implementation of its marketing, business development and customer service efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and up-keep of print and digital marketing materials, including, but not limited to product/application literature, product literature, advertisements, video and motion graphic content, email campaigns, presentations, posters, catalogs, press releases, blog posts, social media posts, price lists, other marketing documents and all other special marketing needs. 
• Assist with printing and distribution of catalogs, manuals, brochures, and other printed literature.
• Assist in the upkeep of website product catalog, SEO-optimized landing pages, and analytical data.
• Assist in the coordination of trade shows and demo materials as directed.
• Update marketing materials in Microsoft Teams and WordPress as directed. 
• Participate in initial planning meetings to understand project objectives.
• Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, etc.
• Assist in copywriting for promotional materials. 
• Continuously assist in updates to product, personnel, element cross reference, literature and other information on the website in a timely manner.
• Review designs for errors and misspellings before passing to Marketing Supervisor and Sales Manager for final approval.
• Use Adobe CC, and Microsoft Office to create electronic versions of designs.
• Develop signs and environmental graphics.
• Provide organizational support for distributor training seminar(s) (i.e. gather literature, update and print certificates). 
• Photograph products and manipulate raw files in the retouch process. Take high-quality product photos and remove backgrounds using Adobe Photoshop for use in promotional materials and product manuals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design or other art and design subject is required.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, etc.).
• 2-3 years’ experience is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to self-prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Web software compatibility preferred (Data Management System-DMS, WordPress, etc.)
