Schrödinger is Hiring a Senior Human Resources Business Partner Near New York City, NY

We’re seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods.

As a member of the Human Resources team, you’ll support and encourage a positive, inclusive, and passionately mission-centric work culture. Your years of experience with developing practical scaling programs during periods of rapid growth will make you an essential part of the group.

What you’ll do:

  • Liaise with colleagues in New York, Portland, San Diego, and Massachusetts to continue building a culture rooted in company principles
  • Create and refine programming that maintains an uplifting, collegial, and collaborative environment
  • Spearhead initiatives in employee relations, onboarding, and change management
  • Support internal mobility and opportunities for career development
  • Provide and coordinate learning and training experiences for managers and staff
  • Partner with managers on performance measurement initiatives, compensation matters, team growth, and employee relations 

What you’ll need:

  • Seven to fifteen years of HR experience in the following areas:
    • Training and supporting managers and driving staff development through elevated L&D initiatives
    • Employee engagement experience (i.e., building input programs ranging from engagement surveys to daily observations)
  • Four-year college degree (Master’s preferred)
  • Background in biotech or pharma preferred
