What You’ll Be Doing
Responsible for developing, planning, and executing the compliance learning program that supports the organization's Compliance Management Plan including consultations with internal business units and vendors, recommendations for improvements and changes, management of program documentation and communication, and oversight of compliance report requests.
  • Develop, plan and execute the annual compliance learning program including documentation, content updates, and communication.
  • Partner with compliance departments and business units to ensure compliance learning program incorporates general requirements, business unit specific requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Recommend updates, changes, or alternative solutions to the compliance learning program based on consultations with internal business units, compliance management, and subject matter experts.
  • Manage relationships with multiple compliance content vendors.
  • Direct the update process as needed with compliance subject matter experts and instructional designers.
  • Schedule and conduct the quarterly Compliance & Learning and Development meeting and document meeting notes for future audit requests. Act as the primary point of contact with compliance subject matter experts and compliance management.
  • Establish and maintain program documentation for compliance assignments by business unit and/or job role.
  • Manage audit requests for compliance-related topics from Internal Audit and regulatory agencies. Maintain up-to-date, correct, and accurate records, such as assignments, status and overdue reports, assignment schedules, and so on.
  • Input department-led compliance training information into the Learning Management System as needed.

  • Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions

Qualifications
  • Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Preferred CUNA CUCE (Credit Union Compliance Expert) designation
  • 3-5 years of previous related experience Required
