Solution Engineer-Austin, TX (Hybrid) Yonomi is an Allegion brand focused on enterprise level Internet of Things solutions. We are looking for a Solution Engineer to join our team. This position will be a member of the Customer Success Organization and will be customer facing. The Solution Engineer will assist with technical account management of our customers. Our customers are B2B customers who are developing solutions using our API platform. You will become an expert in usage of our own APIs and SDKs, helping guide our customers in development and solution best practices. In addition, this position will triage customer issues, identify the problem, and design the best technical solution for solving them. Yonomi is one of Allegion’s 30 brands that is developing a powerful enterprise class IoT cloud platform. What You Will Do: Become a technical subject matter expert in the Yonomi API Platforms Onboard and train customers and potential customers in how to use our APIs Triage and identify root cause of customer submitted issues Work closely with product and engineering to define fixes and timelines Be the voice of the customer to internal teams Assist in documenting troubleshooting steps, FAQs, and best practices Build a technical knowledge base for improving triage methods and speeds Support production of content to assist sales, marketing, and customers including blog posts, training videos, and documentation What You Need to Succeed: 1-2 years' experience with REST-based API development and usage Bachelor's degree preferred in related field Experience with customer relationship management Hard worker who is self-motivated Hungry and eager to learn new technologies Strong problem solving and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Works well with remote teams Willingness to dive into any issue in order to diagnose a problem Effectively manage problems, guiding them to a resolution Experience with REST-based API development and usage Customer-first attitude with the ability to think like a customer Ability to communicate with multiple teams and organize work appropriately Technical Skills Javascript NodeJS Github NPM Postman Docker API experience (REST and/or GrapQL) Cloud serverless experience a bonus Why Work for Us?
